Services Division - Records Section
The Services Division of the Pendleton Police Department consists of two main components; the Records Section and the Property/Evidence Section. The Services Division is commanded by the Lieutenant, whose primary responsibility is to provide general management direction and control to the Services Division.
The Records Section consists of three (3) Police Assistants who comprise the Records Section and are responsible for maintaining departmental records through data entry into the Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS) and the agency’s Records Management System (RMS); assists the public with information, provides dispatch support to the Umatilla City County Joint Dispatch; performs clerical duties associated with police records. The Police Assistants also process all pawn slip transactions, transcription of all agency police reports from the Operations Division and receives, processes and records monies associated with impounds of vehicles and dogs.
